"Facing Hope" is an image I created about 10 years ago as I was exploring how to help patients, families, volunteers, and myself think about our work with hospice. Two quotes became very important to me - from the psalms "hope deferred makes the heart sick" and hope is not the assurance of a favorable outcome but the belief that life and death have meaning. First Friday, July 2nd Willo North Gallery is hosting uac for an Alzheimer's Benefit. This image will be included in an auction with the proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Association.
